Healthy Living

Now is the perfect time to take charge of your health and make changes that will help you be more resilient, both physically and mentally. Now is the time to reflect on what’s important to you and what your future will look like.

I will help you gain, develop and sustain skills in healthy cooking; meal planning; food shopping; stress and anxiety management; quality sleep; self-compassion; a resilient mindset and healthy movement.  You will discover greater self-confidence, self-acceptance and life-enhancing tools, with an understanding of what works for you in supporting your health, wellbeing and vitality going forward.  



Health Begins Here

I began working in Social Work and counselling in 2006; both in UK & NZ. I have worked with a wide variety of people and I favour a solution focused approach. I use strengths based counselling to empower people to recognise their own abilities, but I am comfortable using other models including CBT. 

My current work includes counselling with individuals, couples and groups; as well as health and wellness coaching. I provide professional supervision to other registered and non registered health professionals. 

I have a caring and non judgemental nature. I believe that the relationship with oneself is paramount to building on relationships with others. With compassion, kindness, respect and understanding; the journey with me will bring empowerment and lead to positive change.

​I hold a B.A. Social Work as well as a Diploma in Professional Supervision. I am registered with SWRB (Social Workers Registration Board) and I am a member of ANZASW (Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers)


Healthy Living

True to the key principles of Simone's Plant based lifestyle, the recipes featured in these cooking classes also focus on fresh, deliciously healthy, all-plant based fare for the whole family to enjoy and be nourished by.
Whether you are already plant based or simply interested in expanding your repertoire to include healthier, home made meals, these hands-on Cooking Classes are loved for the practicality of the dishes, the nutritionally informative content, and the relaxed and genuinely welcoming vibe.
Group classes are can be held either in your home with a maximum of 12 people and minimum of 5 or alternatively a venue will be booked which can accommodate your group.

6 week Transition Course.

Simone was amazing to work with. I can't praise her skills and knowledge enough at helping our family implement a plant based whole foods diet. We had several sessions using Zoom with Simone as well as plenty of email support. We also received her fabulous cookbooks full of yummy recipes which are easy to prepare and use everyday ingredients.
